In The Beginning.............
I was really quite sane.
I went to teacher training college.
Got a proper job.
Invented CSE Drama for the ILEA
BUT
in 1974, following the notorious "PA's strike" I joined the BBC!
Something I had been warned never to do!
YES - I became a trainee AFM
Isn't that restful? Now - read on......
OK - now for the serious stuff
I've been a free-lance since 1974, starting at the beeb in drama series/serials.
I've worked for most of the big companies - some now gone to the great cutting room in the sky
and IF YOU'RE FROM GRANADA - what's wrong with me???
Also many indies.
From AFM I worked my way through FM/Location Manager/1st AD/PM/Producer - low budget only.
Almost all Drama - all genres but "Soap"
I am also a trainer in TV Production and Production Management. I've worked for
InterMedia - Nottinghham
2nd Sight - Birmingham
Skillset
